School doesn’t even start in some parts of the country for another month, but that doesn’t mean that senior year isn’t about to kick off. August 1st is opening day for the Common App and Apply Texas along with other individual college applications. That doesn’t mean you have to know exactly where you want to apply, but it is time to start narrowing the list down. If you want to apply to a school Early Action or Early Decision then you really need to begin working on the applications - you need to have time to edit and craft your essays. If you are applying regular decision you have more time. If you haven’t taken your ACT or SAT and plan to use them as part of your application (or scholarship applications) and haven’t taken them or don’t have the score you want - now is the time to get registered. You want to have those available by the decision deadline for your school. There is still plenty of time to develop your plan for what’s next - but kick off is here and I am here to help you with your game plan.
